DID YOU KNOW ?

The Ghazal, “Insha Ji Uthho Kuuch Karo is shahr mein dil ko lagaana kyaa” is numbered among the most popular ghazals in Urdu. Its creator, Ibn-e-Insha (1927-1978), was a famous poet, columnist, author, translator and humorist.
And you know what, he was perhaps the first Urdu poet to use in Urdu the famous genre of Punjabi poetry "Sii-Harfi" which comprises four-versed stanzas, all of which begin with each letter of the Urdu alphabet. Also, in these stanzas, the themes are not limited by any means.
This is how Ibn-e-Insha has used it in his Nazm ‘Amn Ka Akhiri Din’:
‘Pe’ wo palTan hai kih uD kar sar-e- maidaa.n pahunchii
‘Pe’ wo pyaare hain kih maidaa.n se na wapis aaye
‘Te’ wo tamGa hai kih barso.n kii riyaazat se mile
Aur kisii laash kii chhaatii pe chamakta rah jaae
Ibn-e-Insha’s real name was Sher Muhammad Khan. He was also deeply interested in world literature. Moreover, he was so influenced by the famous American poet and writer Edgar Allan Poe that he called him "Guru Dev".

Role [ edit | edit source ]

Fate/EXTRA CCC [ edit | edit source ]

She is the main focus in Chapter 3. Ε]

She will initially be friendly to Hakuno Kishinami, but orders from her "mother" will force her to attack them. Like Caster and Saber, she will fall in love with them despite their gender, but becomes hostile to them after she thinks they have rejected her.

Fate/EXTRA CCC Fox Tail [ edit | edit source ]

Passionlip and Meltryllis performing "Virgin Laser - Palladion".

Meltryllis and Passionlip invaded the school and Gawain fought back and things seems at a disadvantage for him. Karna later appears and allies with Gawain to take both Alter Ego. As Passionlip was cut down, Passionlip and Meltryllis combined an attack called "Virgin Laser - Palladion".

Fate/Grand Order [ edit | edit source ]

Subspecies Singularity: SE.RA.PH [ edit | edit source ]

Passionlip, along with BB and Meltryllis, is salvaged from Kiara Sessyoin, as she had absorbed them in the Far Side of the Moon, to serve her and manage SE.RA.PH. Ζ] Meltryllis and Passionlip were infected with parts of her, Karmaphage, to turn them into Sentinels who had no choice but to serve as SE.RA.PH's self-defense mechanisms. Η] However, they still refused to obey Kiara. As punishment, Passionlip was bound into a restraining hood that suppressed her personality and Meltryllis was disposed of. Ζ] She was eventually freed by Ritsuka and Meltryllis (though they couldn't remove her restraints), and joined them against Kiara. They lost however, as their Karmaphages prevented the Alter Egos from being able to harm Kiara. As punishment for their defiance, Kiara broke Meltryllis's hands and dissolved Ritsuka in front of her despite her pleas to let them live. With the last of her willpower, Passionlip then used Virgin Laser - Palladion to launch Meltryllis upwards at the speed needed for Meltryllis to travel back in time to the moment Ritsuka arrived in SE.RA.PH. Η]

Ritsuka's party first encounter Passionlip at Breast Valley as she pursues Mable Macintosh. Passionlip eventually catches up to her, and promptly crushes the 128 new Servants summoned by BB. The group fight her, but they're forced to retreat when she uses Trash & Crush on the passageway, compressing it into a cube. ⎖]

Passionlip later approaches the group at the Flank Separator as they flip SE.RA.PH over to access its back side, despite not being told by BB to come. Gawain holds her off, while Ritsuka successfully flips SE.RA.PH. ⎗] She easily overwhelms him and waits for the group to return. When they do, she approaches them. Gawain however recovers and holds her long enough for Ritsuka to touch her chest to initiate the Maiden Coaster. Upon doing so they’re converted into Psuedo-Spiritrons by BB in order to enter Passionlip’s mindscape. Following the mental battle, Passsionlip’s Karmaphage is removed, and she collapses. Tamamo Cat carries her back to the chapel. ⎘]

At the chapel, with Cat’s encouragement, Passionlip introduces herself, and apologizes for the trouble she caused. She then offers to join the group, which Ritsuka readily accepts. She expresses her gratitude towards Gawain for seeing her and Meltryllis as girls, though she couldn’t respond at the time thanks to her restraints. Gawain tells it was thanks to her own strength that she made a safe return. He is grateful to her as well, as he had few opportunities as a knight to end a maiden’s tears, so seeing her happy smile is reward enough for him. After Ritsuka views the record, Passionlip confesses she doesn’t understand BB’s intentions of summoning Servants if the purpose of turning Seraphix into SE.RA.PH is Zepar‘s rebirth. Meltryllis reveals BB summoned Servants to procure the Pseudo-Spiritrons needed to keep SE.RA.PH running and use their deaths from the “Moon Holy Grail War” as a fuel source. The group decides to defeat the Sentinels and BB before stopping Zepar’s plan.

Out of consideration for the others, Meltryllis and Passionlip stand guard outside the church. Lip asks Melt what happened to make her views of humanity soften while she was away, suggesting that Ritsuka might be the cause. Melt dodges the question, and in an attempt to change the subject Passionlip asks how Melt injured her hands. Deciding to trust her with the truth, Meltryllis shares her memories with Passionlip. She then asks her to lend her the use of Virgin Laser- Palladion, promising that this time they will defeat Kiara. ⎘]

The next morning, everyone discovers that Gawain was killed while they were sleeping. Meltryllis and Passionlip are accused by everyone except Ritsuka and Cat because they’re Alter Egos. Meltryllis asserts they were outside at the time, and Gawain was too wary of her to allow her to ambush him. Seeing the lack of evidence, Tristan asks Ritsuka to continue exploring SE.RA.PH while he continues to stay behind to protect Marble and Arnold. He also asks EMIYA Alter to accompany Ritsuka so they can monitor him. He is suspicious of both the Alter Egos and EMIYA Alter, but he understands the Alter Egos wish to protect Ritsuka while EMIYA Alter isn’t especially concerned. Thus, he’ll have the Alter Egos protect Ritsuka while EMIYA Alter monitors the Alter Egos. ⎘]

Returning to the back side, the group head towards the Spine, the center of SE.RA.PH. Along the way, Passionlip praises the way Cat used her claws against Julius Caesar earlier. Cat offers to teach her how to cook, which she Passionlip accepts. Meltryllis explains Suzuka Gozen‘s temple is at the spine, and Suzuka is charged with the back side. However, the group finds the Spine has been gated off. They’re then contacted by Arnold Beckman, ordering them lip SE.RA.PH once they’re at the spine to arrive at the planetarium. He also reveals SE.RA.PH will the reach the bottom of the trench in 15 real world minutes, or 24 hours in SE.RA.PH time. He ends his transmission, saying he’ll meet them at the planetarium. Passionlip gets upset at him for treating Ritsuka like a flunk. Meltryllis promises her that they’ll leave him Beckman overnight at the most dangerous place in SE.RA.PH. If he’s still alive in the morning, he should be more appreciative of his own insignificance. Meltryllis tells Passionlip to remember that any human can be useful once they’ve learned a little humility. ⎙]

Entering the Spine, the group soon arrives at Suzuka’s temple. Suzuka proves too fast and strong for the group to pin her long enough for Ritsuka to open her Maiden Coaster. Beckman suddenly contacts them to warn SE.RA.PH has started to sink faster, so he orders them to defeat Suzuka quicker. Cat uses her ultimate technique to trap Suzuka in response to her conviction to win for her Master. Ritsuka uses this opportunity to open Suzuka’s Maiden Coaster with the key they bought from BB earlier. Following the mental battle, Suzuka tries to jump off a cliff. Cat stops her, though, and convinces her to join them. Suddenly, a Demon God emerges from the ground and knocks Meltryllis into the dump. After it’s killed, Beckman warns there are only eight hours left before SE.RA.PH reaches the seabed and demands that they return to him at once. He says he’ll accompany them to the planetarium. Ritsuka and Suzuka instead go down into the Trash Dump to rescue Meltryllis. Passionlip isn’t allowed to join them because she is too heavy for the tow cable. ⎙]

Later everyone is sent to the Cruel Thenar (Meltryllis’ former territory) by BB. Meltryllis explains Seraphix’s true purpose was to investigate Leylines. She then asks Ritsuka to open her Maiden Coaster, knowing they bought the key to it from BB earlier. If defeated in her mindscape, her Karmaphage will also disappear, and the area will be unlocked. Following the mental battle, Ritsuka brings Meltryllis back to the chapel to recover. When the group enters the chapel, they see no sign of Arnold, Mable, or EMIYA Alter. BB then announces SE.RA.PH will soon reach the seabed and offers the chance to fight her at the planetarium. Ritsuka, Tristan, Cat, Passionlip and Suzuka leave for the planetarium while Meltryllis stays to rest. ⎙]

The group arrives in BB’s studio in the planetarium and fight her. After BB seemingly disappears, the room becomes pitch black and muffled. Someone tries to ambush the group, but they fail in their attempt. The group then finds BB’s studio gone and discovers 128 Coffins with people still inside. They’re the Masters who summoned the 128 Servants. EMIYA Alter explains their purpose, and confesses he destroyed their power source. He then prepares to kill Ritsuka to remove all knowledge of the planetarium’s existence, goaded by the unseen voice. Robin then arrives to help defeat EMIYA Alter, whose Saint Graph was warped by an unknown force. After he’s defeated, Mable suddenly appears and reveals herself to be Kiara Sessyoin, Beast III, the Beast of pleasure. She and Passionlip both explain how Zepar used her body as catalyst to turn Seraphix into SE.RA.PH after linking her with another version of herself. Since Kiara served as the basis of SE.RA.PH, Meltryllis and Passionlip were salvaged from her to become Sentinels. Suzuka and Cat attack her with their Noble Phantasms after realizing her monstrosity when SE.RA.PH. cracks the seabed. It will continue to sink until it reaches the Earth’s core, and once it arrives, Kiara will become one with the planet. Kiara proclaims this will let her bring salvation to humanity. Before that however, she easily kills everyone except Ritsuka when they try to fight her. She tries to consume Ritsuka, but BB rayshifts them to safety. Ζ]

Passionlip, along with everyone else, has her death undone when BB reserved time. They are then transported to classroom used to keep Hakuno and the other Masters safe during the CCC incident. BB reveals she was summoned to stop Kiara’s plan, and that Kiara forced her to manage SE.RA.PH until now with the Grail War’s conclusion. She also reveals Kiara used SE.RA.PH to become Beast III/R, though she’s still bound to it. The group then prepares to fight Kiara to prevent her from fusing with the planet and unleashing her full power. Ζ]

The group arrives back at the planetarium. Kiara reveals she became a Beast out of jealousy of the delight she felt from Zepar’s memories of the Battle at the Time Temple. Passionlip agrees with Meltryllis’ assessment of Kiara that she only see others humans as toys for her own amusement, calling her the embodiment of narcissism. She also considers her far more repulsive than Alter Egos born from emotion a monster that loves humanity more selfishly than anyone else. After revealing she wishes to be worshiped as a god of pleasure, Kiara tries to convert the group into her followers. It is negated, however, by BB’s secret weapon that counteracts the erotic magical energy in SE.RA.PH for the next five minutes, and her powers are further suppressed by “Kiara Punishers” developed by BB. Kiara then fights the group more directly. They defeat her, but the area fades away. SE.RA.PH’s gravitational field weakens, so everyone begins to float. Meltryllis points out to Kiara that disabling SE.RA.PH’s gravitational field has left it defenseless. At her request, Ritsuka uses their remaining Command Spells to empower her and Passionlip. Meltryllis then has BB transport everyone except her and Passionlip to safety. Η]

Passionlip notices Meltryllis smiling. Meltryllis confesses it’s because she’s recalled how fun the past days have been, without a hint of sadness in them. As Passionlip prepares Virgin Laser - Palladion, Meltyrllis asks for her forgiveness for leaving her behind back then. Passionlip says it’s nothing, and launches Meltryllis at Kiara. Meltryllis crashes into Kiara and smashes her heart. As her body crumbles away, Kiara turns her hair into Demon Gods to grab Meltryllis in an effort to possess her. Her effort is made in vain though when EMIYA Alter destroys the Demon Gods entangling Meltryllis. Tristan then puts a cable around Meltryllis’s waist and has her pulled up to safety. Kiara’s body soon crumbles away completely. Η]

Passionlip returns to BB’s studio. She tells Meltryllis that it was Tristan who pulled to safety, to the latter’s surprise. Like Meltryllis, she is confused by BB saying Tristan was always there to protect her. She recalls him always keeping to the background and calling her by the wrong name while playing his harp. Meltryllis then begins to disappear as a consequence of using Virgin Laser - Palladion a second time. BB tells her she and Passionlip will cease to exist once they disappear, as they were born from Kiara, so the Moon Cell won’t receive them. She’ll save their cores as cubes so they can be resummoned as Heroic Spirits, although they won’t remember their actions in SE.RA.PH. Before disappearing, Meltryllis asks Passionlip to give Ritsuka a kiss on the cheek for her. Η]

After Ritsuka wakes up, they’re told what happened to Meltryllis and Tristan. Passionlip cries, happy to see that Meltryllis remained herself until the very end. Before disappearing, she gives Ritsuka a kiss on the cheek like Meltryllis asked her to. She confesses she wanted to do it anyway to repay Ritsuka for helping her, for not hating her even though she’s an Alter Ego, and for helping Meltryllis. She disappears, hoping she and Ritsuka will meet again. Η]

Interlude [ edit | edit source ]

Sakura Labrynith/M
Ritsuka wakes up in what appears to be the Trash Dump of SE.RA.PH with no memory of how they got there. BB is waiting for them, and after teasing them and implying that they brought her there for sex she triggers a flashback to explain to Ritsuka what happened. Passionlip had been acting strangely, and when asked about it she said she had been worrying about how useful she was. She then unintentionally let it slip that she disliked how the other Servants acted like they were better than her because they had been serving Ritsuka longer and how they kept teasing her despite trying to be more careful, as well as her own opinion that they were just using up all of Ritsuka's magical energy. Despite her outburst, Lip insisted that everything was fine and that she could handle her problems herself. She then suddenly got dizzy and fell on top of Ritsuka while they were trying to hold her up, accidentally sending them into her Breast Valley. Panicking, Lip then asked BB for help in getting Ritsuka back out.

BB claims that she made Breast Valley look like SE.RA.PH. to make Ritsuka feel more at home, and assures them that Lip should be able to get them out eventually. However, BB decides that as long as they're there, Ritsuka should take a look at Lip's Secret Gardens. She tells them what Secret Gardens are, and further reveals that Lip's sudden bout of dizziness was caused by an issue in her Masochistic Nature SG. According to BB, helping Lip to fix it will make her stronger and strengthen their bonds. BB had taken the time to map out Lip's mind into a miniaturized Sakura Labyrinth and linked it to Breast Valley, and the two of them head out. The first obstacle they face is a trio of Antonio Salieris BB suggests that perhaps she asked him to teach her how to play an instrument and feels resentful about having to live up to his high standards, pointing out that Lip is prone to holding grudges even if she usually represses her feelings.

As they continue to travel, BB explains the origins of the Sakura Five and what Lip used to be like, as well as how she learned from her experiences in the Far Side of the Moon. Soon afterwards, they come across the Passionlip that represents her Masochistic Nature SG being beaten with a paper fan by Hijikata Torizo, apparently as a representation of an incident where Lip started talking about Berserkers being glass cannons and her own defenses being better than his when Hijikata tried to correct her posture and ended up getting him upset over her "excess padding" (or more precisely, her failure to show it off to his liking). After the ensuing battle (in which Okita inexplicably shows up to drag Hijikata off after the latter remarks that she should try whatever Lip is eating so her breasts will grow bigger), Ritsuka figures out that this was one of her mental traumas. When Lip sees Ritsuka, she believes they are a part of a dream, but her hopes of a romantic encounter are let down when BB explains that they are in fact the real Ritsuka and tells her about what they're doing in her mental world..

As the SG2 Passionlip joins Ritsuka and BB, she starts complaining about BB's tendency to meddle in others' affairs, her inability to distinguish between caring and controlling, and her general incompetence as a "mother". BB notices Ritsuka's surprise about how aggressive Passionlip is acting, and explains that it's part of her Masochistic Nature. Lip objects, citing her growing self-reliance as proof, and declares that she plans to abandon her Masochistic Nature entirely. BB is distraught to hear this since Secret Gardens were never meant to be outright removed, but is sure that she'll come to her senses soon. She tells them that they can handle the rest of the labyrnith without her help.

Ritsuka and the SG2 Passionlip continue to make their way through the labrynith, fighting off a comically large number of Servants representing incidents of Lip being bullied over the thoughtless insults that she made to them. Each time, it becomes apparent that even the comments that Lip was sure would be harmless were still enough to make them angry at her the real Lip had repressed most of it so she didn't recall any of those instances.

BB explains that Lip's biggest problem is that her lack of tact combines with the effects of her Masochistic Nature skill in such a way to guarantee that she ends up provoking others into tormenting her without meaning to do so, but as a major part of her personality it's not something that she can fix on her own. However, BB also notes that Lip made a mistake in thinking that her Masochistic Nature was something she needed to get rid of and suggests to Ritsuka that it would help to just accept her as she is.

According to BB, Passionlip and Meltryllis are perhaps the easiest of the Sakura Five to read in this respect while Lip might have oversensitive skin, she can't help but be oblivious when it comes to the feelings of others. By contrast, Melt's sense of touch is dull but she is far more adept at reading the emotions of others. Lip is annoyed by the backhanded compliment, but BB brushes it off by pointing out that they've arrived at what's supposedly their destination. Lipip notes that there doesn't seem to be a Relief anywhere and briefly explains what they were in the original Sakura Labrynith before hastily changing the subject.

BB announces that their final obstacle will be Meltryllis, who she called to teach SG2 Lip a lesson for being self-centered and declares she'll be joining in as well. According to BB, the shock of seeing Ritsuka being killed in Lip's mind would make her straighten up and she figured that Meltryllis with her Sadistic Streak SG would be the perfect way to make it happen. However, Melt immediately refuses to play her part in BB's plan, calls BB soft for pawning off her dirty work on Melt, and joins Ritsuka just to spite BB. Undaunted, BB fights Ritsuka and Lip anyway and is seemingly defeated. She then gets back up and reveals that she can revive herself in digital worlds unless the entire zone is shut down, then immediately starts to beat Lip up.

Despite the pain from the attacks, Lip feels herself growing stronger. This prompts BB to reveal that her real goal was to make Lip realize that by using her Masochistic Nature to channel the pain inflicted upon her into power, she could gain greater strength from the skill and use it against her tormentors. This is immediately demonstrated when an embarrassed Lip unleashes Brynhildr Romantia on BB, who didn't expect to take it head-on. She manages to survive the attack, although it was strong enough to damage a significant portion of the area.

With her job done, BB encourages Lip to remember what she learned and not to worry about her denseness she also lets Ritsuka know that the real Lip just finished fishing them out of Breast Valley before she leaves. SG2 Lip admits that she was mistaken to think she could handle her problems alone and thanks Ritsuka for their continued willingness to help her overcome her weaknesses and scold her when she goes astray.

With Ritsuka back in the real world, the real Passionlip profusely apologizes for dropping Ritsuka into Breast Valley and starts blaming herself for being careless enough to let it happen. In the heat of the moment, she offers to stay away from Ritsuka for the rest of her time in Chaldea on the assumption that they hate her now. Ritsuka reassures Lip that they bear no ill will over her accident, and she is cheered up to know that after everything they're still willing to hold her hand as her Master. They head off to the combat simulator to test out Passionlip's new ability, with Lip suggesting that they ask some other Servants to battle them even if she ends up losing, she is sure she will enjoy it.

Operational history [ edit | edit source ]

The first flight of the Model 45 was on 2 December 1948, by Beechcraft test pilot Vern Carstens. ΐ] In 1950 the USAF ordered three Model A45T test aircraft, which were given the military designation YT-34. ΐ] A long competition followed to determine a new trainer, and in 1953 the Air Force put the Model 45 into service as the T-34A Mentor, while the USN followed in May 1955 with the T-34B. ΐ]

The US Air Force began to replace the T-34A at the beginning of the 1960s, their role taken over by the propeller-driven T-41 Mescalero and the T-37 Tweet primary jet trainer. Many USAF T-34A aircraft were turned over to the USAF Auxiliary, the Civil Air Patrol, for use as search aircraft. However, the T-34's low wing limited its utility in a search and rescue role, and maintenance issues, particularly expensive wing spar repairs that became apparent in the late 1990s, resulted in the T-34As being withdrawn from CAP service beginning in 2003. Ζ]

The U.S. Navy kept the T-34B operational as a Naval Air Training Command initial primary trainer until the mid-1970s and as a Navy Recruiting Command aircraft until the early 1990s when the last examples were retired as an economy move. Others continue to remain under U.S. Navy control as part of flying clubs at naval air stations and marine corps air stations.

As of 2007, Mentors are still used by several air forces and navies.

From 1978, the T-34C Turbo-Mentor was the Argentine Naval Aviation basic trainer used by the 1st Naval Aviation Force (Training), alongside 15 T-34C-1 light attack aircraft forming the Fourth Naval Air Attack Squadron. Η] During the 1982 Falklands War, four T-34C-1s were deployed to Port Stanley on 25 April 1982, primarily to be employed in a reconnaissance role. The main encounter with British forces occurred on 1 May 1982 when three Turbo-Mentors attacked a Royal Navy Westland Sea King helicopter in the area of Berkeley Sound but were intercepted by Royal Navy Sea Harriers flown by Lt 'Soapy' Watson and Lt Cdr 'Sharky' Ward of 801 Naval Air Squadron flying from HMS Invincible, ⎖] ⎗] with one of the T-34Cs being damaged by cannon fire from Ward's aircraft. The four T-34C-1 Turbo-Mentors continued to operate, flying a few reconnaissance missions, but were redeployed to Borbon Station where they were ultimately destroyed by the SAS Raid on Pebble Island on 15 May 1982. ⎘] Although all four hulks remained on the island for a considerable length of time, eventually, 0729/(1-A)411 was recovered on 10 June 1983 and stored for future display at the Fleet Air Arm Museum. ⎙]

In 2004, due to a series of crashes involving in-flight structural failure during simulated combat flights, the entire US civilian fleet of T-34A/Bs was grounded by the Federal Aviation Administration. The grounding has since been eased to a slate of restrictions on the permitted flight envelope. Via a series of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) established by or Alternate Methods of Compliance (AMOCs) negotiated with the FAA, including installation of certain, approved structural modifications to the wing spar and other repairs, the T-34A and T-34B fleet in 2011 has been restored to full flight status by FAA at the Mentor's originally designed limitations, provided each individual example is compliant with those ADs and AMOCs.

The T-34C is still used as a primary training aircraft for United States Navy and Marine Corps and Coast Guard student pilots, although it is currently being replaced by the T-6 Texan II. Training Air Wing SIX at NAS Pensacola, Training Air Wing FIVE at NAS Whiting Field and Training Squadron TWENTY-SEVEN at NAS Corpus Christi have transitioned to the T-6A and T-6B models, respectively. Training Squadron TWENTY-EIGHT is the only remaining squadron flying the T-34C with plans to begin transition in 2014.

NASA Dryden Flight Research Center has operated two T-34C aircraft. The first was previously flown at the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, for propulsion experiments involving turboprop engines, and then came to Dryden as a chase aircraft in 1996. That aircraft was returned to the US Navy in 2002. Dryden obtained its second T-34C in early 2005 from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at NAS Patuxent River, where it was due to be retired. At Dryden, the T-34C is primarily used for chasing remotely piloted unmanned air vehicles which fly slower than NASA's F/A-18's mission support aircraft can fly. It is also used for required pilot proficiency flying. ⎚]

The United States Army received six ex-US Navy T-34C, used as test platforms and chase planes at Edwards Air Force Base and at Fort Bragg. ⎛]

The Mentor is the aircraft used by the Lima Lima Flight Team and Dragon Flight, both civilian demonstration teams. It is also used by aerobatic pilot Julie Clark, who flies her T-34 "Free Spirit" (registration N134JC) at air shows.

When Hitomi was in high school, she was walking home late one night, when a group of young men snatched her into a van with the intention of raping her. The driver, Nomoto Yuuya, did not know that his friends were doing this until they were doing it, making him feel very guilty.

As he slammed the brakes, Hitomi emarged from the back of the van, informed him that his friends were now all dead, and told him to drive to a specific location. Once they'd arrived, Nomoto saw the disemboweled corpses in the back, making him vomit, before he ran off.

As Nomoto ran off and met Brute Leo in the dump, Hitomi got a phonecall on her mobile from her mentor Shidou Reiichi, whereupon she told him what happened, and he ordered her not to kill Nomoto. However, just then, Nomoto had unwillingly angered Brute Leo.

Brute Leo transformed and attacked Nomoto. However, Hitomi had transformed also, and defended Nomoto, before defeating him with a deadly slash. Unbenkownst to them, the Ishida Zaibatsu were watching this happen from the view of a satellite.

Nomoto took Hitomi to his flat near his campus, bandaged her wounds, and fell asleep. The next morning, they went to a cafe, where they met Shidou Reiichi, who explained everything to Nomoto and gave him 100 million yen to use to bet on Hitomi in the Killing Bites tournament.

As Shidou ordered Hitomi to be Nomoto's personal bodyguard, Nomoto saw how much Hitomi really looked up to Shidou. Nomoto and Hitomi later went back to the former's apartment. As night fell, Hitomi ordered Nomoto to go and buy her new clothes, or she would slay him.

A while later, Nomoto was walking back with a bag of clothes, when a beautiful young woman in a trench coat beckoned him over on a quiet road, before flashing her naked body (minus the panties) at him, before she shot something sharp through his leg.

This turned out to be a very long spine, and this woman was revealed to be Brute Raudi. Just as she demanded information from Nomoto about Brute Ratel (Hitomi), Hitomi appeare behind her, sparking a fight between the two young ladies.

Eventually, Hitomi won the fight, seemingly killing Brute Raudi. However, as Brute Raudi began to get back up, a very large man bashed into her, knocking her out, before he explained that the spikes that he'd just pricked himself with onlu felt like toothpicks to him.

He then explained that he was Brute Hippopotomus, before requesting that Hitomi helps him by joining his faction, confusing her and Nomoto. when the three got back to Nomoto's flat, Brute Hippo had cleaned and bandaged his leg, before explaining that he was alligned with the Ishida Zaibatsu. Hitomi initially declines, when he and Nomoto get a text message from Shidou.

Moments later, Hitomi accepted Brute Hippo's offer, much to his joy. The three then ate some food and went to sleep.

The next morning, Hitomi was dressed in uniform as she awoke Nomoto, before explaining that she has to come to university with him as to protect him. A while later, they had made it to the lecture before it had begun, when Nomoto's friend Moriyama showed up, very shocked to find out that a beautiful girl was now living with him as she sat beside him.

After a short time, Hitomi had become bored of the lecture, so she went to the bathroom. As she sat on the toilet, a perverted lesbian bobbed her head over the stall, quickly introducing herself as Eruza Nakanishi, a Brute for the Yatsubishi Zaibatsu, as she climbed over into the stall. As Hitomi asked if she wanted to fight, Eruza implied something more sexual as she began to fully remove Hitomi's panties as she sat there.

This obviously annoyed Hitomi, causing her to instantly transform and punch Eruza out of the stall, before Eruza waved Hitomi's panties mockingly as she got up, before running away, with Hitomi in hot persuit. As Hitomi ran around a hallway corner, she bumped into Nomoto, who was using cruches. As Hitomi and Nomoto hit the floor, he saw her vagina from under her skirt as she gathered herself, causing him great embarassment.

Hitomi then chased Eruza to the earby forest, where Eruza eventually transformed into Brute Cheetah. Eruza said that her brother told her to find Hitomi. After a brief fight, something knocked over a tree to interrupt it, which was revealed to be Brute Bear, and another young man, who informed the girls that they were forbid from fighting until the Killing Bites Destroyal, being held a week from now.

Meanwhile, two men are seen spying on Hitomi from the school roof with binoculars.

After a short while, Nomoto and the two girls were gathering themselves in the Manga Club, when several boys had walked in on them, assuming Nomoto to have a harem. After soem negotiation, Hitomi and Eruza agree to change into skimpy manga clothing for a photoshoot, held by many young men form campus waiting outside. They have many suggestive pictures taken, to discover that they both enjoyed it.

At the end of the day, the two girls went to eat pancakes, while Nomoto went home, only to find several people there already Brute Hippo, Brute Leo, and Yoko Mitsukado, the granddaughter of President Yozan of the Mitsukado Zaibatsu. They explain that, in a Destroyal, multiple Brutes enter a battle royale, rather than a one-on-one, and they fight to the death.

Yoko explains that Shidou Reiichi is behind this for his own personal research. She further says that the Destroyal is a real-life game of chess, with the Brutes as the chess pieces, and Nomoto controlling the pieces. Since Hitomi is entering, Nomoto therefore decides her fate. Later, when Nomoto is at his flat with just Hitomi and Brute Hippo, the latter explains that a Destroyal requires a three-man team and will therefore need to recruit one more Brute.

Meanwhile, two lesbians are seen after having sex, when one of them gets a phonecall implying that the higher-ups of the Killing Bites do not agree with Shidou.

Next morning, Brute Hippo explains to Nomoto and Hitomi that he's having trouble finding a thrid member, since the other Brutes have declined, but he believe that the other zaibatsus are sabotaging their attempts. However, he has one person left to pick from, but that this particular Brute is not affiliated with any zaibatsu and dislikes fighting.

Later, the three meet this Brute in a cafe, where they discover that she is a Brute Rabbit, and has lost all of her Killing Bites matches, and thus all her credibility and backing. Brute Hippo still begs her to join the team, but she runs away after Hitomi threatens her. Hitomi then orders Nomoto to chase after her, so he does. Nomoto sits with Bute Rabbit in the park and manages to convince her to join, when they are attacked by a strange laser.

Akemi Kishimoto then reveals herself, revealing that she is the Brute Horned Lizard, and is shooting blood out of her eye as an attack. After Brute Rabbit runs away, with Brute Horned Lizard in persuit, Hitomi saves her. However, Brute Horned Lizard is backed up by her sister (the two lesbians from earlier), Akari Kishimoto, who had been sniffed out via Brute Rabbit's acute hearing.

The two sisters reveal themselves to be Brutes for the Sumitomo Zaibatsu, before Hitomi defeats them. Hitomi pins her victory on Brute Rabbit as thanks for using her power to find the second sister, and the two sisters flee. Whilst Hitomi states that they are still forbidden from fighting yet, Brute Hippo explains that Brute Rabbit hasn't been registered yet, and therefore didn't break any rules.

Brute Rabbit celebrates in glee at her first victory in a fight, happily exclaiming to Nomoto, Hitomi, and Brute Hippo that she will join their troupe. Later, Hitomi takes Nomoto to a park to train.

The next night, Nomoto, Hitomi, Brute Hippo, and Brute Rabbit are at a fancy party - in formal wear - on the Beast King cruise, being hosted by the Killing Bites organisers. Brute Leo approaches the group and explains that he will not participate, but wishes them good luck. Just then, Brute Tiger antagonises him, asking if he's afraid to get beat by him.

Brute Tiger is revealed to be the previous winner, as well as Brute Cheetah's brother when she approaches. Minutes later, the lights go off and Shidou announces from the podium that the Destroyal is a fight where four teams (each with three fighters), representing the four zaibatsus, fight to the death. This fight will be held on Hotei Island, on the Philippine Sea, where their cruise is heading.

Scared, Brute Rabbit runs to the bathroom, where he sees Brute Cobra (the same man with the binoculars) standing over a crying woman on the floor. He grabs Brute Rabbit, and his team mates - a man and a woman - approach, but Hitomi shortly walks by, saving Brute Rabbit, and the three leave. Later, the teams of Brutes are now on the island, with their Players in a conferance room, seated around a large, high-tech table that acts as the 'chessboard'.

With monitors in the room, they can see the Brutes' progress through a satellite. When it is Nomoto's turn to select the co-ordinates on where he should send Hitomi, he happens to pick the perfect, safest location on the island by chance, making the professionals in the room think he'd done extensive research on the island.

However, in a flashback to the previous night at the park, Hitomi is telling Nomoto that she will tell him where to send her on the island, via different hand signals that she will perform for the satellite's camera that will be watching her - a code that only Hitomi and Nomoto will understand, dubbed 'Operation Unthink'.

Presently on the island, another Brute had approached Hitomi's location, initiating a fight, as per the rules if more than one Brute are caught in the same square metre. This Brute was revealed to be Brute Bear, the sumo wrestler that had interrupted Hitomi's first fight with Brute Cheetah. Hitomi defeats Brute Bear with one swipe, eliminating him from the Destroyal, and amazing everyone watching.

Meanwhile, Brute Hippo is walking through the forest on the island, when Brute Tiger slices his back in a sneak-attack, sending Brute Hippo to the ground. However, as Brute Tiger walks off, Brute Hippo gets back up as he transforms into his Brute-self. He mentally admits to himself that, despite acting tough, he didn't see the attack coming at all.

Just then, two more members from seperate teams arrive. Now with four Brutes, all from different teams, gathered in one location, Brute Tiger prepares to fight the others in a three-on-one. As the Players and hosts watch in excitement, Brute Crocodile insists that he with duel with Brute Tiger, so the other two sit back and watch.

After a brief duel, the short guy (who'd earlier interrupted Hitomi's first fight with Brute Cheetah, alongside Brute Bear) gets bored, and transforms into Brute Gorilla. After a short argument, Brute Tiger defeats Brute Gorilla and Brute Crocodile with little effort.

Meanwhile, Brute Cheetah is attacked and pinned in a zone without cameras by the remaining two Brutes of the Sumitomo Zaibatsu, particularly Brute Cobra, who attempts to rape her. When Brute Cheetah fights back, Brute Cobra breaks her arm, and the other woman - Brute Gecko - beats her into submission. Meanwhile, just as Brute Hippo and Brute Tiger prepare to fight, the Player for Brute Tiger's team orders him to move to Brute Cheetah's location to help her, as they are on the same team.

Just then, Brute Crocodile bites Brute Tiger's leg, and since he only has three minutes to reach his destination, he runs the risk of running out of time, since the collars around the Brutes' necks are designed to explode if they disobey orders. Meanwhile, as Brute Cobra prepares to rape Brute Cheetah, Hitomi slashes him, saving her.

However, she is outnumbered and beaten, which is seen throguh cameras when a camera crew is sent to film the unmonitored zone. Just as Brute Gecko prepares to kill Hitomi, Brute Cheetah springs back and slices Brute Cobra's face open. She and Hitomi then team up to fight Brute Gecko and Brute Cobra.

Meanwhile, Brute Crocodile bites Brute Tiger's leg and does not let go of him, ensuring that he will not make it to his destination, meaning that his collar will explode, killing him. Realising his inescapable predicament, Brute Tiger bends himself and grabs Brute Crocodile's leg, ensuring that he will also die if the collar explodes. As they argue, they are cut-off when Brute Hippo rams into them both, freeing them and knocking them down.

A quick flashback shows Brute Hippo giving his unlimited thanks to Seira Toh - wife of Toubank's Managing Director - for the sufficient financial support, vowing to give his life for the Destroyal victory if he needs to. However, she says that the Brutes' lives are precious, and that his survival is more important than victory.

Back in the present, as Hitomi fights Brute Cobra, she suddenly collapses, and Brute Cobra explains that he'd released the venom from his fangs into the air in mist form. However, since ratels are resistent to venom, Hitomi gets back up quicker than expected and, with Brute Cobra's guard down as he prepares to rape her, she slashes him in half.

Hitomi and Brute Cheetah then team up and prepare to take Brute Gecko down. Meanwhile, in the Players' conference room, the announcer and the audience become impressed with Nomoto's playing of his 'chess pieces', and he is congratulated by Seira Toh, who is also present as a Player on the central table. Meanwhile, as Brute Hippo is being beaten by Brute Crocodile, Brute Pangolin arrives.

Yoko, seated beside Nomoto and becoming increasingly annoyed, until Brute Pangolin arrives. Yoko flashbacks to when she looked up to her grandfather - Youzan Mitsukado of the Mitsukado Zaibatsu - as a child, then promises to herself that she'll not let him down.

As Brute Pangolin quietly voices his annoyance with Brute Crocodile over the destroyed trees from the fight, Brute Gorilla arrives and explains that Brute Pangolin is an environmentalist who kills anyone that destroys plant life. After Brute Crocodile lands several unsuccessful attacks on him, Brute Pangolin punches clean through his head, killing him.

However, as the audience watches on, Brute Pangolin calmly approaches Brute Crocodile's corpse, before kneeling, and continuing to smash his head with his fist. The audience and Players in the conference room are repulsed by this, but Yoko smirks as she watches the screen. Meanwhile, Brute Gorilla approaches Brute Pangolin and says he should stop, to which he responds that, if he smashes Brute Crocodile's head, the pieces will make good fertilizer.

As Brute Hippo watches this, the speaker on his collar says that his Player (Nomoto) has ordered him to move north within three minutes. However, as he begins to back off, Brute Gorilla transforms and smahses his fist towards him. However, just as Brute Gorilla strikes, Brute Hippo then disappears, leaving him in confusion. Meanwhile, Brute Gecko gets new orders to relocate, prompting her to flee, leaving Hitomi and Brute Cheetah to duel.

As the fights had commenced, Brute Rabbit - waiting alone - had dug under the island's dirt, and as she sensed danger, she had quickly dug a hole underneath Brute Hippo, which he then fell through, saving him from Brute Gorilla. Brute Hippo slides to safety, as is met by Brute Rabbit, who had truly saved him, but he is unable to move after landing wrong, so she crawls up the hole he'd slid from.

As Brute Gorilla looks in confusion at the rabbit-hole, Brute Rabbit pops up from it, and the two make eye contact, before he attacks her. Meanwhile, Brute Cheetah has overpowered Hitomi and, now on top of her, she leans forth and kisses Hitomi, before she pushes her away and asks what the hell she's doing. Brute Cheetah says that she feels like doing this with Hitomi, and Hitomi reveals herself also as a lesbian as they both French kiss.

The audience watch the camera feed revealing Brute Rabbit running away from Brute Gorilla, when they switch to the other camera feed, seeing Hitomi and Eruza having foreplay, shocking everyone. The camera then sees Brute Civet of the Yatsubishi Zaibatsu standing atop a shanty roof watching on.

Brute Civet is revealed to have despersed her aphrodisiac scent into the atmosphere. This aphrodisiac pheremone has made the battle-excitement of Hitomi and Eruza convert into lust, explaining the odd situation, and effectively incapacitating both Brutes. As the primarily-male audience watches on in excitement, Nomoto is conflicted between acting with his chess pieces and watching the show.

However, Yoko becomes increasingly infuriated at the perverted men in the room, and their sacrilege of the Killing Bites. In a private room, Yoko's extremely perverted grandfather is seen watching the Killing Bites on his television, thanking Shidou for his work.

Meanwhile, Brute Gecko is traversing the forest with the anticipation of meeting up with her teammate Brute Crocodile, but she is instead greeted by Brute Tiger. Realising that Brute Crocodile had failed, Brute Gecko goes for an attack, only to be sliced by Brute Tiger, killing her. As everyone watches this from the camera feed, the Sumitomo Zaibatsu are now officially eliminated.

After the camera feed flicks back to Hitomi and Eruza, who are still at it, Yoko slams her fist onto the table, silencing everyone, before demanding the next Player to roll the dice. As Hitomi and Eruza begin to orgasm, the latter says "Come with me", which triggers Hitomi's memory if Shidou finding Hitomi on the streets as a child telling her to come with him as he holds out his hand with a smile.

This memory snaps Hitomi out of it, and she whacks Brute Cheetah off her, shocking Brute Civet, who'd expected Brute Cheetah to come to her senses first. Hitomi sees Brute Civet and attacks her, but she is stopped when Brute Tiger arrives. Now with Brute Tiger, Brute Civet, and Brute Cheetah, Hitomi is forced to fight alone against all three Yatsubishi Brutes.

However, Brute Civet and Brute Cheetah sit back as the others duel, with Brute Civet confused at why the two aren't affected by her lustful pheremone in the location, as Brute Cheetah is still out of commission from it.

Meanwhile, as Brute Gorilla still chases Brute Rabbit, he gets an order from his collar to move east, but he continues his chase and eventually punches her in the behind, knocking her over. As he taunts her, Brute Pangolin arrives and scolds him. This makes Brute Gorilla realise that he'd knocked over several trees in his chase, and he cowers.

Concluding that Brute Pangolin cannot be reasoned with, Brute Gorilla resorts to knocking him out and fleeing, but his plan falls flat when Brute Pangolin takes a punch without flinching. As he continues his attack, Brute Pangolin punches him in half with no effort, killing him, and shocking Brute Rabbit, whose life flashes before her as she prepares to be slaughtered.

However, Brute Pangolin gets an order to go east, which he follows without question, leaving Brute Rabbit.

Meanwhile, Brute Cobra is revealed to be alive as he spies on Hitomi and the Yatsubishi Brutes, before he attacks Hitomi, but fails. Hitomi grabs his top half and throws it to the camera crew hiding behind bushes, requesting him to be stitched together and nursed back to health. After Hitomi and Brute Tiger converse, the latter attacks her with an infamously devastating attack.

When Hitomi stands up again, the audience applaude as they watch on the screen. However, when he hits her again, she bleeds significantly, when Brute Rabbit bursts from the dirt between them, yelling her fears on Brute Pangolin, but when she sees Brute Tiger, she begins to flee in fear. However, she falls over and clutches her loins due to Brute Civet's pheremone taking her over.

Since rabbits' mating habits are infamous, she becomes aroused more quickly than usual, confusing Brute Civet. However, Brute Civet grabs her by the ears and makes her watch the duel. As Brute Tiger readies himself to kill Hitomi, Yoko taunts Nomoto back in the conference room, saying that he is responsible for killing Hitomi due to his badly thought-out playing.

After further taunting, Nomoto stands and concludes that he will not roll the dice, making Hitomi stay put in her current location. This surprises everyone, but amuses Seira Toh as she smirks. Nomoto adds that he'd rather take a stand than run a way, further impressing Seira Toh and shocking everyone else.

Just as Brute Tiger goes to finish Hitomi, Brute Pangolin - the last remaining Mitsukado Brute - appears and smacks her out of the way with his deadly tail, and begins beating her.

A flashback reveals Yoko and Brute Leo convincing the nature-loving Brute Pangolin that Shidou had conducted many u ethical experiments on animals, and that the very existence of his creation - Brute Ratel - was a crime against nature, and that he must destroy her.

Back in the present, Brute Rabbit manages to escape Brute Civet's grasp and push her down a large rabbit-hole. Just as Brute Pangolin is about to kill Hitomi, who is now unconscious, Brute Tiger rams into him, annoyed that he is focusing on Hitomi and not him. He repeatedly claws and Brute Pangolin, finding that his skin is like armour. When Brute Pangolin eventually fully-transforms, Yoko smiles in awe as everyone looks on in horror.

As Brute Rabbit rushes to Hitomi's side to help her, Brute Pangolin curls into a ball, before managing to trap Brute Tiger's claw, chopping it off. Just as Brute Pangolin curls into a ball again and jumps to crush Brute Tiger, Brute Hippo appears from the foliage and rams into Brute Pangolin, knocking him away. As the two giants clash, Brute Pangolin claws into Brute Hippo abdomen, knocking him down bleeding.

Just then, Brute Tiger uses his remaining claw to slice Brute Pangolin's eye out, but he retaliates by impaling his gut with his shart tail. Yoko then slams her fist onto the conference table and exclaims with a grin that she has won, going on a wild rant on how her company is superior.

As Brute Rabbit digs a hole to safetey, Brute Cheetah begins to fight Brute Pangolin. Just then, Hitomi springs back up, with the blood now gone, and now miraculously in an even more transformed state, with more white fur. Shidou quietly explains to a colleague that this is Hitomi's true form, since she was born with theriomorphosis, rather than being genetically modified with it, thus making her an Origin Beast.

A seven-year flashback in Hong Kong shows Shidou and his colleague Shibayama first seeing the young "Origin Beast" when she swiftly snatched a piece of Shidou's food and climbed to a water tower. Shidou had then climbed up a ladder and held a piece of chicken for the Origin Beast, when she bit his arm, took the chicken, and lept off the roof to hide elsewhere.

After several days of Shidou visiting her with gifts of food and clothes, Shibayama questions his motives for going to such lengths for an animal, to which Shidou argues that she is still a human, and has christened her 'Hitomi'. That night, Shidou sneaks off to see Hitomi, later learning that she can talk, and he manages to get her to say his name, when Shibayama comes up and shoots her with a tranquilizer, angering Shidou.

After Hitomi jumps away and onto the streets, Shidou punches Shibayama. After a short while, Hitomiloses energy and passes out, whilst Shidou and Shibayama run after her, hoping to reach her before the local mafia does, a task which they fail. They both see thugs with weapons surrounding the unconscious child, when they attack the two men.

As Shidou jumps onto Hitomi to shield the melee attacks, his subordinate, a woman named Shinozaki (the host and announcer of the Killing Bites), defeats them with martial arts. Shidou had expected her arrival, and they escape with Hitomi, later giving her genetic therapy to appear fully human, whilst still able to tranform.

Back in the present day, Hitomi is still fighting Brute Pangolin as Brute Cheetah watches with a dislocated arm from earlier. Hitomi then manages to slice her claws up his abdomen all the way up to his face, prompting him to curl into a ball again. Realising that this ball is impenetrable, Hitomi spins Brute Pangolin, sending him rolling into some trees, knocking them over. When he uncurls himself, he sees what he's done and laments over it.

A disturbing flashback revelas that, when Brute Pangolin was a boy, his mother left him a pot of flowers before she left, sayig "Think of them as me", but Brute Pangolin's father kicked the pot and stomped on the flowers. Chanting "Don't bully Mama", Brute Pangolin grabbed his baseball bat and violently beat his father to death, not stopping until his head was just bits (reminiscent of Brute Crocodile's death).

As Brute Pangolin remembers this, in a fit of burning rage, he struck Hitomi, cutting her forearm off with his scales. As Hitomi screams in agony as she wriths on the floor, Brute Cheetah realises that only her brother is able to keep calm after losing an arm, and that not even Brute Ratel can withstand extreme pain. As she observes further, she notices Brute Pangolin's scales become a fortress of protruding knives.

As he swipes his sharp tails at Hitomi, who continued to dodge, he didn't seem to care any longer that he was destroying more trees in the process. After more fighting, he'd managed to pin Hitomi and send his tail through her back, making her let out another sharp scream. When she becomes limp and quiet, Brute Pangolin removes his tail from her back.

As he prepares to crush her head, Hitomi springs up, grabs her amputated arm and throws it at him, sending her claws into his empty eye socket, disorienting him as Hitomi jumps up and rams her claw down his throat, seemingly killing him. The audience cheers as Yoko watches in horror, whilst Brute Cheetah admits to herself that she has already lost.

However, Brute Pangolin rises once more, shocking everybody, but he is quickly killed when Brute Cheetah slices his chest open, causing Yoko to faint in anger. Brute Cheetah realises that she is the only Brute awake, and that she may win, but then Brute Rabbit awakens after being knocked out form Hitomi's full transformation. The two engage in a fight, but Brute Rabbit flees.

As Brute Cheetah chases her, Brute Rabbit trips over a rock, managing to somersault and land a rare kick to her chin, knocking her down. With Brute Rabbit confused and the only one standing, everyone is unspeakably amazed at this outcome.

However, the power on the cruise shuts off, and the camera crew at the site are revealed to have been silently murdered by Brute Chameleons as part of the plan to kill all Brutes on the island as to have no winners. After Brute Rabbit stops Hitomi's bleeding with a tourniquet, she senses an attack, managing to dodge it, but only before being ensnared by the Brute Chameleons' long tongues.

As they prepare to kill Brute Rabbit, Hitomi awakens and interrupts, but quickly passes out again. Just then, Shinozaki arrives at their location on the island with a camcorder and uses her martial arts training to slice a Brute Chameleon's tongue off, stating that unregistered Brutes taking part in the Destroyal is a serious offense.

Just as the cruise's power returns, everyone sees Shinozaki presenting her results from behind the screen as she films herself, before interviewing Brute Rabbit, asking her how it feels to win, to which she responds with confusion.

Minutes later, Shidou explains to the four zaibatsu bosses that the Brute Chameleons were sent by Sumitomo after his Brutes fell first, as to even out the tournament, which Sumitomo admits to. Then, Brute Horned Lizard, who is present, slices Sumitomo's face, killing him. Brute Leo then transforms and threatens her, telling her not to continue that.

Shidou stands with the others as he explains that Mitsukado had planned to overthrow the rest of mankind using his company, rather than to better the Theriomorphosis and release it to the public in order to better humanity. Brute Leo then stabs his claws into Mitsukado's chest, allowing the others to continue their plan for Earth.

Minutes later, Yoko laments over her loss as she walks to her grandfather's office, when she sees him dead on his chair. Shidou lies to her that his death was a natural heart failure, but Yoko says that he'd done for, to which they explain that his death was necessary for the change of power. Yoko orders Brute Leo to kill them, but he refuses.

As everyone else leaves the office, Brute Leo threatens to kill Yoko if she does not obey her new superiors, and he gradually rapes her to ensure that.

Almost two weeks later, Nomoto is seen eating in the university cafeteria with Moriyama. Nomoto's life had been back to normal as soon as he'd stepped off the cruise, and his home was quiet again without Hitomi and Brute Hippo. He thought it may have all been just a dream, but the cases of 300 million yen in his room disproves that theory.

Later, in Nomoto's flat, he gets a text from Hitomi to meet her at the dump. At the dump, they meet up, and Hitomi's arm is stirched and healing. Nomoto thanks Hitomi for unwittingly teaching him to be confident, and Hitomi thanks Nomoto for sticking by her. Just then, she sliced her claw across his chest, killing him. She tells his corpse that Shidou wanted him dead, as he could be a potential liability.

Hitomi never wanted to kill Nomoto, but after she did, she got back in the car and told the driver that it was done. She tears up heavily, but pretends not to be upset.

16 Incredible Facts About Ancient Australia

Whether due to the vast distances separating Australia from the rest of the world or merely general apathy, popular understanding of the native Aboriginal culture of Australia remains limited. Beyond stereotypes and simplifications, often combining the native peoples of all non-European cultures into a single homogeneous amalgam, general knowledge concerning the Aboriginals is often minimal. In spite of this lack of attention or wider interest, the Aborigines inhabiting ancient Australia were actually part of a rich eco-system and even richer culture, producing impressive artwork, complex religious and communal systems governing relations, in addition to technological innovations far beyond those of their pre-historic European and Asian cousins.

16. Ancient Australia is believed to be the world&rsquos oldest civilization outside Africa, dating from as far back as 75,000 years ago and developing in near isolation to the rest of the world

Whilst only speculation, albeit reasoned and supported by the genetic and geological information available to us, it is generally believed that humans have occupied the island of Australia since between 75,000-50,000 years ago. Stemming from early African migration, DNA analysis strongly supports the conclusion that Australian Aborigines descended from a single human population which departed Africa sometime between 64,000 and 75,000 years ago this migration consequently would have occurred approximately 24,000 years before humans from Africa migrated into Europe and Asia. In a split that would see the first human populations leave Africa, recent genetic examination has determined a founder population of between 1,000 to 3,000 women would have been necessary to provide the genetic diversity among the fledgling civilization that can be observed today. For reasons unknown this migration suddenly stopped about 50,000 years ago as a result, ancient Australian Aborigines developed in near-total isolation from the rest of the world and are likely the oldest indigenous peoples outside of Africa itself.

The earliest place determined to have been inhabited by humans in Australia dates to around 55,000 years ago: the Malakhunanja II rock shelter located in the Northern Territory of modern-day Australia. The earliest human remains discovered in Australia were found at Lake Mungo, in New South Wales, and dated at around 42,000 years old, confirming the existence of populations in Australia by that time additionally, the identification of ancient artifacts from between 6,500 to 30,000 years ago clearly demonstrates human occupation of these parts of Australia, particularly at Rottnest Island, during this time. Further assisting in the isolation of these migrants, the land bridge between Australia and New Guinea was eradicated approximately 8,000 years ago by rising sea levels DNA analysis of the native populations of both islands reveals a close connection, suggesting significant interaction prior to this environmental separation.

15. The first Australians were predominantly hunter-gathers and nomadic people, similar to other early human populations

Whilst information is naturally limited in scope concerning the earliest inhabitants of Australia, it is widely believed and supported that the Aborigines existed as hunter-gathers: that is to say they subsisted through the hunting of animals and the collection of plant-foods this method of survival was common throughout early human history, with up to 90 percent of human history experienced in this manner and agriculture only first discovered during the Neolithic Revolution approximately 12,500 years ago.

It is also asserted that these early Aborigines were nomadic, as also was typical for hunter-gatherer communities due to the seasonal requirements of food chains and the need to allow the land to repopulate itself to prevent man-made extinctions. Among the locations known to archeology as sites of early Aboriginal habitation are Lake Mungo, Kow Swamp, Coobool Creek, Talgai, and Keilor. Interestingly, the bones of Aborigines born between 40,000 and 10,000 years ago are considered to have been far stronger and more physically varied than their more recent descendants this suggests the introduction of agriculture and the development of larger and more permanent settlements in the last 10,000 years, resulting in an increasingly secure and sedentary existence compared to that of a nomadic existence.

14. Much of what we know about the history of ancient Australia stems from Aborigine stories and legends told via the oral tradition

As with many ancient peoples who resided outside the so-called &ldquoknown world&rdquo, Aboriginal Australians are generally believed to have not developed an advanced system writing akin to that used by European and Asian societies. Instead these cultures imparted stories and wisdom via the oral tradition, passed down within tribes and families often in the form of legends and folktales without a written record of major events, like that which we enjoy from Ancient Greece for example, much of what we currently understand about the early history of Australia stems from these cross-generational stories.

Among these stories, particular attention has been paid in recent years by researchers to Aboriginal disaster legends as indicators of significant geological upheaval or occurrences of note the first notable success of this approach was the identification and confirmation of the Henbury Meteorite Field in modern-day Northern Territory, heralding into prominence the inclusion of Aboriginal oral tradition in modern scientific explorations. Found in 1899, it was not recognized as a meteorite impact site until 1931 after a connection was made with a local Aboriginal tale of a &ldquofire devil&rdquo who struck the land there over 4,700 years prior. Since the Henbury revelation, the technique has also been applied to confirm a legend of the Gunditjmara people of modern-day Victoria regarding a massive flood sediment and soil testing in 2015 strongly indicated an ancient tsunami covering the land several thousand years ago.

13. Ancient Australians were possibly the world&rsquos first human oceanic travelers, crossing vast distances over water to migrate to the isolated island

During the Pleistocene period, stretching from roughly 2.6 million years ago to 11,700 years ago, sea levels were far lower than they presently are, making migration from Africa to Australia, via Asia, much simpler than today. However, unlike the Bering Strait which is widely believed to have possessed an actual physical land bridge allowing humans to cross with relative ease, even during the Pleistocene period Australia was separated from the mainland by at least 90-100 kilometers of ocean this transportation requirement means that the initial African migrants who crossed into Australia were, in fact, the first recorded oceanic travelers in human history.

The precise manner or nature of the crossing is naturally unknown, but it is suspected rudimentary boats, similar to rafts and crafted from bamboo, most likely carried the migrants to their new home it is generally assumed that a method of &ldquoisland hopping&rdquo was employed as the means to ensure safe passage across the treacherous ocean waters to the uninhabited continent. Even more remarkably, due to the general consensus opinion of a single large human migration to Australia, it has been contended &ldquothat initial colonization of the continent would have required deliberately organized sea travel, involving hundreds of people&rdquo.

Rather than merely accidental discovery, as occurred in the case of Iceland when Naddodd lost his way en route to the Faeroe Islands, and the gradual cumulative actions of individual families following suit, it would appear that the initial settlement of ancient Australia was a deliberate act and choice what force might have compelled these individuals to attempt en mass the dangerous ocean crossing into isolation is impossible to guess, but more recent exoduses such as that of the Mormons in the United States or the Great Migrations of the early Medieval period, particularly that of the Turkic peoples, might provide clues as to the undeniably passionate motivations behind Aboriginal relocation to Australia.

12. Although predominantly isolated from the wider world, Aboriginal Australians did engage in external trade with Asian countries

Before the &ldquodiscovery&rdquo of Australia by Europeans during the Age of Exploration, it is often believed that the Aboriginal populations of the island were completely isolated from the outside world although predominantly true, limited commerce and external relations did occur between Aborigines and other nations, in particular with the Chinese, Indonesians, and until the collapse of the land bridge the neighboring island of New Guinea. The Torres Strait, a 150-kilometer wide channel dotted with islands settled by humans approximately 2,500 years ago, was easily navigable and cultural interactions between islanders and Aboriginals were not infrequent. Aboriginal oral history explicitly details legends of differently looking humans, seemingly of Chinese description but unquestionable not Aborigine, visiting coastal tribes ranging from Cape York to the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Moreover, definitive proof was established when in 2014 archeologists unearthed an 18th-Century Chinese coin from the Qing Dynasty at a remote island in the modern-day Northern Territories the use of Chinese coins as common practice by Aborigines in fishing was originally considered a modern cultural introduction, but this has now been called into question by the discovery. The presence of foreign coinage heavily suggests commercial interactions with visitors to the island from Indonesian fishermen from the Spice Islands to Macassan traders from Sulawesi seeking to harvest or purchase sea cucumbers to trade with the Chinese, the evidence suggests consistent commerce and relations between the Aboriginal peoples of ancient Australia and the outside world. Even older coinage, with Arabic inscriptions and traced to 10th Century East Africa, have been discovered in Australia, indicating the possibility of even earlier contact with a broader range of other civilizations.

11. More than 250 Indigenous Aboriginal languages used to exist in Australia, many of which are now extinct with fewer than 20 spoken by Indigenous groups in modern-day Australia

Despite the absence of a formal writing system, the Aborigines were by no means unsocial, developing in excess of 250 separate and distinct Aboriginal languages prior to the colonization of Australia. In 1788, coincidentally the year of the first white birth in Australia, it was estimated more than 500 separate Aboriginal nations spoke in excess of a hundred separate languages using more than 600 dialects of said languages.

Sadly, after a slow period of decline less than 20 such languages are spoken collectively by all the Indigenous peoples of Australia today although some have been successfully preserved by linguists, others have been forever lost as they became extinct with dozens more highly endangered. More happily, however, many Aboriginal words have been transplanted into modern English, with more than 400 words adopted, most notably &ldquokangaroo&rdquo which was picked up during Captain Cook&rsquos visit to modern-day Cooktown for ship repairs other borrowed words include koala, wombat, kookaburra, and boomerang, but several non-nouns have also been adopted including bung: an adjective for bad.
